A Penny For Your Thoughts… And International Calls

New International Package from AT&T Offers Discounted Calling Rates and Unlimited Messaging to Eight Latin American Countries; Calls to Mexico Only a Penny per Minute

Dallas, Texas, November 19, 2013

Felices Fiestas and Happy Holidays! No matter how you say it, AT&T* has made it more affordable than ever for wireless customers to spread some holiday cheer to their family and friends living in Latin America.

Introducing AT&T Latin America Talk and Text, a new international long distance package that offers discounted calling rates and unlimited messaging—text, picture and video–to eight Latin American countries.

For $10 a month, the package lets AT&T wireless customers call Mexico for $.01 per minute. Customers can also call Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela for just $.09 per minute. These rates apply to calls made to wireless and wireline numbers.

“This is our most value packed international long distance package ever for calling and texting to Mexico and Latin America,” said Mark Collins, senior vice president, Data and Voice Products, AT&T Mobility. “With calling rates at less than a dime a minute and unlimited messaging, our customers who have loved ones living in Latin America now have a convenient and affordable option for staying connected with them this holiday—and all year long.”

International Long Distance:  International rates apply for calls made and messages sent from the U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S.V.I. to another country.  Calling or messaging to some countries may not be available. Calls to wireless numbers and numbers for special services, such as Premium Rated Services, may cost more than calls to wireline numbers.  If a customer calls an overseas wireline number and the call is forwarded to a wireless number, the customer will be charged for a call terminated to a wireless number. International Long Distance calling rates are charged per minute and apply throughout the same footprint in which the customer’s airtime package minutes apply.  AT&T Latin America Talk and Text Package: Limited-Time Trial ends March 15, 2014. Subject to change and may be discontinued at any time. Per-minute rates and unlimited messaging apply only to calls made/messages sent to countries included in this package, and a maximum limit of 1,000 minutes per month applies.  If your calls to included countries exceed 1,000 minutes per month, AT&T may terminate your Latin America Talk and Text package, and then current pay-per-use rates will apply to calls you make to those countries.  Other restrictions and limitations apply. For rates and full details, see att.com/latinamerica.
