Company now covers over 1600 rate centers and 80 plus million people across 17 states
SEATTLE, WA – October 26, 2011 – 360networks, a facilities-based wholesale provider of Private Line Transport, Ethernet, IP, and VoIP services, today announced the addition of 48 rate centers in the Houston LATA with population coverage of 4.5 million, to its IP Origination footprint. With this expansion 360networks provides wholesale VoIP services in six of the nation’s 10 largest metropolitan areas, and 1606 rate centers covering a population base of over 80 million people across 17 states.
“We’ve vastly expanded our capabilities throughout Texas in 2011, with a network build and additions to our Internet access services earlier this year,” said Nick Reifschneider, VoIP product director for 360networks. “Extending our VoIP reach to include Houston, and other Texas markets, is an obvious extension for customers to use 360networks as their single source provider.”

360networks offers a full suite of VoIP services to include IP Origination, IP Termination, and Toll Free, with a variety of pricing models and features to meet customers’ unique requirements. 360networks VoIP services leverage the company’s 18,500 route mile fiber optic backbone to reduce costs and minimize third party dependencies. 360networks launched its new VoIP customer portal, 360connect, in July and is currently in Beta trial for the 360connect Application Programming Interface (API). Customers can also bundle the company’s VoIP services with its Ethernet, Private Line and IP Transit solutions for a single source provider option.
