Winners selected through community art project contest
MOORHEAD, Minn. – CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) today will reveal art to be displayed on seven of its utility boxes near the Minnesota State University Moorhead campus. The technology-inspired art was selected through the CenturyLink Moorhead Box Art Project, a community contest open to all ages, held in September.
Seven art submissions were selected by a panel of CenturyLink and community leaders from the available submissions received as part of the CenturyLink Moorhead Box Art Project. The call for submissions closed Sept. 23.
Artists’ works include:
- The Whole by Emily Williams-Wheeler
- Timeknowlogy by Hanna Loegering
- Bird’s Eye View by Kim Jore
- Control-Command-D by Megan Vetter
- Robot Farmers by Raul Gomez
- Ami by Timothy Schmiesing
- Future Moorhead by Mandel Cameron
Chosen art submissions will be installed Oct.25.
