Erich Sanchack named CenturyLink Federal Sales SVP

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) announced today thatErich Sanchack will join the company as senior vice president of federal sales effective Nov. 1. He succeeds Tim Meehan, who will now serve as CenturyLink’s vice president of managed services sales and support. Sanchack and Meehan will report to Dean Douglas, CenturyLink’s president of sales and marketing.

Sanchack joins CenturyLink with more than 20 years of industry experience and after more than 12 years with Lockheed Martin, where he served as vice president of competitive enhancements and, prior to that, as vice president of information technology services for Lockheed’s Information Systems & Global Solutions defense business.

As a former U.S. Marine Corps finance officer, Sanchack started his private sector career with Tetra Pak Inc. in Denton, Texas.

Sanchack is a member of the board of directors for the American Heart Association for Greater Washington Region, serves on the advisory council for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians and serves on the Armed Services Council for the Union League ofPhiladelphia.

He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
