Price Quotes, Order Placement Possible Via Internet Gateway
BOULDER, Colo.—Dec. 18, 2013—Zayo Group, LLC ( “Zayo”), an international provider of Bandwidth Infrastructure services, today announced the first release of Tranzact, a new portal that guides Zayo customers through product selection and service ordering. The portal is in its first stage of testing and is available to a limited set of current Zayo customers.
Tranzact enables Zayo customers to obtain competitive real-time price quotes, place orders, view service inventory and view pending transactions for Zayo’s suite of products including Ethernet, IP, Wavelengths, Dark Fiber and Private Line services. The portal meets growing customer needs to receive pricing options for standard services and autonomously engage in the ordering process.
The Tranzact portal is supported by a designated help desk staffed by specialists who can answer questions and complete service quotes. Besides gaining easy access to Zayo’s 75,000+ fiber route mile network and on-net buildings, Zayo customers can also obtain quotes for services to off- net buildings near the Zayo network.
“Tranzact simplifies the way customers do business with Zayo, providing the tools necessary to make purchasing decisions,” says Sandi Mays, SVP and Chief of Staff at Zayo. “We saw a customer demand for an integrated pricing and ordering tool, then delivered an easy way to buy and manage bandwidth.”
The beta version of Tranzact will be used as a trial prior to the broader release in the first quarter of 2014.
