Zayo Fiber Carries Video Feed During Recent Inauguration
LOUISVILLE, Colo. – January 31, 2013—Zayo Group, LLC (“Zayo”) announced that its Washington, D.C. fiber optic network provided support to the major news networks at the 57th Presidential Inauguration on January 21, 2013. Zayo’s Metro Network provided connectivity for video broadcast from the major venues throughout the day.
As President Barack Obama was re-inaugurated into office, Zayo fiber was used by key networks to broadcast and highlight major events of the day. These leading news outlets utilized the network for video feed from the morning Worship Service, important activity at the White House and US Capitol on Inauguration Day.
