LOUISVILLE, Colo.– October 18, 2012 – In recognition of the progress made by Zayo Group, Denver Business Journal (DBJ) announces CEO and President, Dan Caruso as a finalist for their Power Book award. The DBJ award recognizes the top CEO’s in Colorado by category, with Caruso named in the Tech and Telecom category.
Zayo Group has announced and closed four acquisitions in 2012, with the largest being AboveNet. The four acquisitions as well as organic growth have pushed Zayo’s network to 68,500 route miles and, on a pro-forma basis giving effect to its recent acquisitions, has grown to nearly $1B in Revenue.

The 14 categories in which the DBJ honors CEOs include: Law, Non-profits and Foundation, Tech and Telecom, and Healthcare, among others. Within each category the DBJ will award the top CEO in the region who deserves recognition for their most recent business accomplishments.
