Notel releases annual report on 5G deployment and mobile internet quality in 2022 in Poland

Warsaw, Poland – Notel Poland, a leading provider of mobile network measurement and configuration solutions, has released its annual report on the state of 5G deployment and mobile internet quality in Poland for the year 2022. The report, which was compiled using data from over 2.7 million measurements taken by users of the RFBENCHMARK mobile app, provides insights on the quality and speed of mobile internet services across all major Polish operators.

According to the report, the majority of measurements were taken using 4G LTE technology (93.08%), with 5G technology making up 1.89% of measurements and 3G making up 4.88%. Orange was found to be the most popular network for measurements, with 33.6% of measurements taken on the network. Play came in second with 31.9% of measurements, followed by Plus with 18.8% and T-Mobile with 15.7%.

The report also found that Plus had the highest average data download speed for 5G at 140.9 Mbps, with Play coming in second at 52.6 Mbps and Orange coming in third at 51.5 Mbps. Orange was found to have the highest average data upload speed for 5G at 34.7 Mbps, with Play coming in second at 32.3 Mbps and T-Mobile coming in third at 31.3 Mbps. Play was found to have the lowest ping value for 5G at 27.1 ms, followed by Orange at 27.3 ms, T-Mobile at 32.2 ms, and Plus at 35.4 ms.

In terms of 4G LTE, T-Mobile was found to have the highest average data download speed at 39.4 Mbps, followed by Orange at 38.5 Mbps, Play at 35 Mbps, and Plus at 30.2 Mbps. Play was found to have the highest average data upload speed for 4G LTE at 20.6 Mbps, followed by Orange at 19.2 Mbps, T-Mobile at 18.5 Mbps, and Plus at 17.8 Mbps.
