Next-Gen Fiber Internet and VoIP Services Support Government Operations, Law Enforcement and Public Services with Reliable Connectivity
WARWICK, N.Y. – May 11, 2026 – WVT Fiber, an Archtop Fiber® company, today announced a partnership with the Town of Warwick and the Warwick Police Department to deliver high-speed fiber Internet and VoIP services to local government and law enforcement facilities. The upgrade will provide faster, more reliable connectivity to support town operations, emergency response efforts and public services for Warwick residents.
Warwick Town Hall and the Police Department will benefit from ultra-fast fiber Internet speeds, improved call clarity, enhanced network security and greater reliability during emergencies. The upgrades will help local officials and first responders better serve the community through seamless communication and improved access to digital resources.
The new infrastructure replaces legacy networks with a more secure, resilient and future-ready fiber solution. In addition to improved performance and reliability, fiber technology is less energy-intensive than traditional network technologies, helping reduce operational costs and energy consumption. Its long-term efficiency and sustainability make fiber a smart investment for municipalities modernizing critical infrastructure.
“We are very pleased to partner with WVT Fiber to enhance the reliability and speed of Internet service at Town Hall and within our Police Department,” said Town of Warwick Supervisor Jesse Dwyer. “Throughout the upgrade process, WVT proved not only to be highly competitive, but also exceptional in their communication and customer service, making the transition seamless. After nearly a year of service, we are confident we made the right choice.
“Increased competition in the Internet marketplace is more important now than ever, and we are grateful for WVT’s commitment to the Warwick community. We look forward to a strong and lasting partnership.”
The partnership builds on WVT Fiber’s continued investment in the Warwick Valley region, including upcoming service to the Kings Estates housing development. To date, more than 375 miles of fiber infrastructure have been built throughout WVT Fiber’s service area, creating a future-ready network for residents and businesses alike.
WVT Fiber has also played an active role in supporting community events. In 2025, for the first time, Warwick Applefest attendees and vendors enjoyed complimentary high-speed connectivity via WVT Fiber’s multi-gig fiber-optic network, enabling more than 1,000 unique users to process transactions, communicate and stay connected throughout the event.
“As an Archtop Fiber company, WVT Fiber is deeply committed to helping Warwick thrive,” said Diane Quennoz, Chief Customer Officer at Archtop Fiber. “From homes and businesses to local government and community celebrations like Applefest, we’re proud to make technology simple, accessible and part of what keeps the Warwick Valley community vibrant and connected.”
