WANRACK ANNOUNCES NEAR COMPLETION OF VALLEY WIDE FIBER OPTIC NETWORK SPANNING 100 MILES

Lenexa, KS (February 5, 2019) — WANRack’s success is continuing to grow across the state of Arizona. Most recently they completed a Wide Area Network (WAN) build for the Agua Fria School District and have broken ground on Saddle Mountain School District and Littleton Elementary School District.

These projects, combined with WANRack’s other past builds, have now created a valley wide alternative fiber network. The new network spans from Tonopah on the west side of Phoenix to San Tan Valley and Apache Junction on the far east, spanning nearly 100 miles.

The Wide Area Network build for the Agua Fria School District took nearly 19 miles of fiber to complete. The districts new WAN provides schools with greatly faster speeds and stronger connections. Each site currently receives 10 Gigabits per second. Agua Fria’s new network was built across 3 cities on the west side of Phoenix; Goodyear, Avondale, and Buckeye.

“We are very excited about these recent builds as they close gaps in our network. We have been extremely fortunate here in Arizona with many projects across the state and here in Phoenix,” said Rob Oyler, CEO and Founder of WANRack. “This new network grants us full reach throughout the Valley over unique routes.”

Both the Littleton and Saddle Mountain School District’s networks will be complete in 2019. Littleton’s WAN is expected to be eight miles of fiber, while Saddle Mountain’s will be 12 miles.

“I am so grateful for not only the approval of the funding which made this project possible, but the partnership with WANRack,” said Sue Chyzy, Executive Director of School Support at Littleton Elementary School District. “Although we are early in the process, the WANRack team has already instilled confidence their design will deliver what we need, when we need it”.

WANRack guarantees to offer the best total cost of ownership when compared to other providers on an apples-to-apples basis. They deliver dedicated rack-to-rack fiber networks which are never oversubscribed or shared. A WANRack network allows customers to grow exponentially over time with quick upgrades.

WANRack provides high-bandwidth, fiber-based communications networks and related services to customers throughout the United States. Service offerings include E-Rate- compliant lit fiber, dark fiber, and special construction solutions. Headquartered in Lenexa, Kan., WANRack’s executive management team has been providing Fiber Optic WANs to school districts since 2005.
