A hero in Miami recently received a new phone from AT&T after ruining his previous phone while rescuing a toddler from drowning in a lake.
After searching for a missing toddler with his neighbors, 23-year-old Henry Tate III found the boy floating in a Miami area lake. Reacting quickly, Tate tore off his shoes and dove into the water rescuing the boy.
Tate’s phone was destroyed during the rescue. To recognize and reward his heroic actions, AT&T presented Tate with a new phone and phone case.
