CORPUS CHRISTI, Tex. – Oct. 21, 2016 – Once again Sprint, (NYSE:S, news, filings) in a 3-way tie, offers the top overall network in Corpus Christi, Texas. According to a newly released RootScore® Report by Independent mobile analytics firm RootMetrics® Sprint shared the #1 ranking in overall network performance, reliability, call and text performance in Corpus Christi.

A Top-Ranked Network in Texas
Sprint’s more than $440 million investment throughout Texas over the last four years has helped to add new cell sites, increase coverage and capacity, and systematically optimize each cell site to maximize performance. This is the eighth time RootMetrics has tested Corpus Christi, with the last test occurring in March 2016. RootMetrics drove a total of 1,063 miles in Corpus Christi and during testing, RootMetrics was able to experience Sprint’s carrier aggregation technology on the 2.5GHz spectrum band. This feature of Sprint’s super-fast LTE Plus Network provides better coverage and increases overall capacity.
