Lenexa, KS (September 7, 2016) – WANRack demonstrates increasing momentum in the state of Arizona, as the company nears completion of another private fiber optic Wide Area Network (WAN) for the K-12 school market. A new customer project in Chino Valley, Arizona builds on the company’s success and leadership in the state and across the nation.
“WANRack is changing the paradigm for network infrastructure in the K-12 market,” said Rob Oyler, WANRack CEO. “The highest capacity broadband technology available is no longer just for big-city districts. School districts of all sizes are cost-effectively closing the connectivity gap with a WANRack fiber solution.”
All schools in Arizona’s Chino Valley School District will benefit from the superb scalability, security, and speed of a 10 Gigabit fiber network connection. The WANRack network will replace a wired network solution that was far too limited to support the growth of our digital learning and operational initiatives at an effective cost. Construction will be complete later this month.
“WANRack is building a private, high-speed fiber network that will more than satisfy our district’s needs,” said Larry Fullmer, IT Director for Chino Valley School District. “The possibilities are endless for leveraging this bandwidth to benefit our students. No other vendor offered us the same capabilities so cost-effectively.”
“A private fiber WAN reverses the imbalance that exists between bandwidth supply and demand in K-12 schools,” said Milan Eaton, State E-Rate Controller at Arizona Department of Education. “We hope to see all districts in Arizona connected to high speed fiber networks like the one WANRack is building for Chino Valley.”
