COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE:FTR, news, filings) announced today that Kay L. Quinn has been appointed Area General Manager for the Mountain States (Idaho, Montana, and Utah) area of the company's National Region.
Quinn will oversee consumer and commercial operations serving more than 80,000 households and businesses with high-speed internet, advanced voice and Frontier Secure digital protection solutions. She will be based in Frontier's Coeur d'Alene service area and report to National Region President Becky B. Potts.
"Kay is an accomplished business and community leader with more than 20 years of Human Resource, sales, marketing and operations experience in telecommunications and consumer industries," said Potts. Before Frontier, Quinn held executive roles at T-Mobile as a Director, General Manager, and Regional Director. She began her career at T-Mobile as a District Manager. At Volt Services Group, she was a Major Account Director, growing sales from $1 million to $3.5 million in four years and adding 100 new corporate customers. She also held regional and district management positions at Lane Bryant and the Gap, Inc. Quinn graduated from Bauder College in Sacramento, California and holds a Professional of Human Resources Certification from the Society of Human Resources.
Quinn is actively involved in the community and held key leadership roles in several academic and non-profit organizations such as Arizona State University's WP Carey MBA Program and the Society of Human Resources Management Association. She was a Member of the Workforce Development Council and the Professional Development Chairperson for NHRMA/SHRM and is listed in "Who's Who of Women in Leadership."
