Miller to lead local efforts aimed at improving the customer experience, enhancing the LTE Plus network, and increasing sales
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), December 17, 2015 – Brian S. Miller has been named Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) president of the Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee Region. Based in Atlanta, he will be responsible for sales strategy, network oversight, customer service, marketing communications and general operations supporting the full portfolio of Sprint products and services from enterprise to consumer in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Miller will report to Jaime Jones, area president of the South.

Miller’s appointment follows Sprint’s announcement that it will restructure the company into four geographic areas – West, Central, Northeast and South – with targeted resources devoted to 19 top markets, including Atlanta. Under Miller’s leadership the company will develop market-specific offerings serving the unique local needs of consumer and business customers in the South.

The South geographic area covers Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Central Texas. It encompasses more than 1,311 company-owned or Sprint-branded retail stores.
