The event, which is hosted by the Chicago SIM chapter, takes place Monday, Aug. 3, at the White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville, Ill., and benefits i.c.stars, a Chicago nonprofit organization that trains future IT leaders.

Since 2000, i.c.stars has chosen 10 to 15 applicants every year to complete a two-year technology-based workforce development and leadership training program, during which each student earns as many as 1,000 hours of hands-on practical business experience.
