Vancouver, Wash. – May 19, 2015 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, enterprise-grade networking, communications and technology solutions through its Integra Business and Electric Lightwave business units, has been awarded a procurement contract to deliver high-bandwidth Dedicated Internet, Ethernet, Waves, IP VPN/MPLS, Cloud Firewall, DDoS protection and SIP-based voice services to the state of Arizona. The contract allows state organizations, including state and local agencies and offices, K-12 schools and institutions of higher education, to procure network services directly from Integra and its business units.
With this award, Arizona government institutions gain direct, easy access to Integra’s comprehensive suite of services, enterprise-grade network infrastructure and hands-on local customer service while benefitting from the company’s extensive high-speed fiber footprint in the state.
“We’re honored to support the state of Arizona, its state and local offices and its learning institutions by virtue of this contract,” said Martha Tate, vice president of wholesale and government education, sales for Integra. “As government and education services become more and more digital and interactive, our unique fiber network allows us to seamlessly scale network bandwidth and deliver future-proof data and communications services for Arizona’s institutions. Moreover, our network footprint creates new opportunities for high-bandwidth access at points throughout the state, in alignment with the objectives of the Digital Arizona Program broadband initiative.”
Integra’s fiber networks and IP/MPLS infrastructure extends to several cities in Arizona, with highly dense fiber assets throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area, where Integra’s state headquarters office is located.
