Fast-Growing Telecommunications Company Continues Rapid Expansion
DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2015) - PEG Bandwidth, a leading provider of wireless and bandwidth infrastructure solutions, has activated backhaul services to its 2000th cell site on behalf of its wireless operator customers.
PEG Bandwidth reached the 2,000 Cell Site milestone in less than four years from the delivery of its first fiber-based backhaul services to a Dallas, TX-area cell site in March, 2010. The company has continued to scale its deployment efforts, which have culminated in a record year for its deployment of backhaul services in 2014. Last year, PEG Bandwidth was named the Fastest-Growing Private Telecommunications Services Company by Inc. Magazine and is presently deploying backhaul services to several hundred additional cell sites in the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
"We are excited about the delivery of our 2000th cell site as we continue to solve our customers' most difficult network challenges," states Michael Friloux, President and Chief Operating Officer at PEG Bandwidth. "We look forward to expanding our infrastructure solutions in 2015 to support the insatiable demand for high-speed data."
As PEG Bandwidth completes large portions of its fiber network build to support its wireless operator customers, it is leveraging that network to expand its customer base. Last October, PEG Bandwidth announced its 10G wavelength product to serve carriers, large enterprises, data centers, content providers, healthcare and medical imaging institutes.
PEG Bandwidth's team of infrastructure specialists has the expertise, dedication and customer-focus to solve a variety of network challenges, from turnkey small cell and front-haul solutions to macro backhaul requirements in lower-tier and rural markets where customers are struggling to find reliable, scalable and affordable solutions.
