Globalstar Improves Reach and Service with New Network Provider

Employing Level 3's Network and Infrastructure to Help Reach Globalstar Customers in 120 Countries

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Globalstar (GSAT), an international satellite communications provider, has selected Level 3 Communications, Inc. (LVLT) to provide a fully meshed Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network for their ground stations across the globe.

A multinational company with customers on every continent, Globalstar is upgrading its backbone infrastructure and needed a network provider that could offer connectivity and continuity around the globe. They selected Level 3's network and services for its resilient, secure and redundant capabilities.
