Honor and Remember Flag Presented to Meriden, Conn. Family by Frontier Communications

Army Specialist Fourth Class Michael Joseph Dinda Memorialized

NEW HAVEN, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Frontier Communications (NYSE:FTR, news, filings) today presented a personalized “Honor and Remember” flag to the family of Specialist Fourth Class Michael J. Dinda, killed while on active duty in Vietnam, on December 29, 1969. Dinda, who was a resident ofKensington, Conn., Specialist Fourth Class, United States Army, C Co, 5th BN, 46th Infantry, 198 INF BDE, was a former SNET employee.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Dinda family; Connecticut Patriot Guard Riders; The HonorableManuel A. Santos, Mayor City of Meriden; State Representative Catherine Abercrombie (D-Meriden); Frontier leadership and employees; military veterans and other honored guests. Connecticut Patriot Guard Ridersformed a Flag Line at the ceremony, held at Dinda’s previous work location, now Frontier Communications’ Dispatch, 1441 N. Colony Road in Meriden.
