NY Times best-selling author and fitness guru Dean Karnazes, named by Men’s Health Magazine as the “Fittest Man on the Planet” and a world-recognized expert on technology and fitness, will kick off the summer by hosting “Silicon Valley’s Tech Secrets to Summer Fitness,” a free workshop with free gifts and prizes at Sprint Store, 499 University Ave., Palo Alto at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21.
Dean is best known for pushing human limits including running 350 continuous miles, without sleep, in three days; winning the Badwater Ultramarathon covering 135 miles in Death Valley in the middle of summer with temps up to 120 degrees; and for completing 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. Dean will show you how to look and feel your best by demoing the latest fitness gadgets and smartphone apps that can help you achieve your health and fitness goals. The member of The North Face ambassador team will also share his tips and secrets for healthier living using technologies, ranging from free apps to the latest gadgets.
