Facility offers 150,000 sq. ft. of space and state of the art infrastructure
Dallas, TX (May 14, 2014) – Global colocation provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) is pleased to announce the completion of recent upgrades to its North Cincinnati Data Center in Lebanon, Ohio. The company will celebrate the new facility enhancements along with subsequent expansion plans by hosting a grand re-opening party and open house for executive leadership and information technology management of Fortune 1000 enterprises on Wednesday, May 14 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Gary Wojtaszek, CyrusOne chief executive officer, will be on hand to say a few words and welcome guests to the event.
“Cincinnati is a strong emerging market for the data center industry and it serves our clients in the Midwest and Northeast. As the market leader, CyrusOne has seven data center facilities in the Cincinnati area,” said Wojtaszek. “The North Cincinnati facility has been upgraded with state-of-the-art infrastructure and security features, the Class A office space has been modernized, and the facility boasts high reliability and robust networking options for customers.”
CyrusOne worked with architect Corgan Associates and engineering firm kW Mission Critical Engineering to implement several key features for added security including new fencing, new entry points, badge and biometric readers for dual authorization, and anti-piggybacking turnstiles to name a few. In addition to enhanced security, CyrusOne modernized the lobby, office space, and conference rooms and also added energy efficiency features such as low-E windows.
Additionally, the infrastructure is now in place for the next 30,000 square feet of customizable space available for rapid deployment, which is in addition to the 65,000 square feet of raised white floor space already in place. Located on 110 acres of land, this location currently has 150,000 square feet for enterprise level production server environments and private office space and more than 14 megawatts of power capacity. Easy to access from interstate I-71, the North Cincinnati data center in Lebanon is located approximately 30 miles north of downtown Cincinnati.
