Integra Awarded Federal Government Local Integrated Services Acquisition Contract for GSA Region 8

Contract supports voice and data services for federal agencies throughout six-state Rocky Mountain region

Portland, Ore. – April 15, 2014 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has been awarded a Local Integrated Services Acquisition (LISA) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) of the U.S. federal government. The five-year contract – Integra’s first LISA agreement – makes Integra’s voice, data, and managed and cloud services available to all federal agencies and offices in GSA Region 8, representing a potential multi-million dollar opportunity. Known as the Rocky Mountain Region, GSA Region 8 encompasses Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming and hosts more than 1,200 eligible government customer accounts.

“We’re honored to be selected by GSA as they work to ensure the highest levels of communications and network services for the agencies they serve,” said Martha Tate, Integra’s vice president, government and education services. “Government is a vital part of Integra’s business. We have a long history of serving government customers at the local, state and federal levels and our deep-rooted understanding of what government customers need from their network services provider will serve GSA and its Rocky Mountain region agencies very well.”

“The Rocky Mountain GSA is excited to work collaboratively with its industry partners on the LISA contract. The new contract represents a diverse array of options for voice, video, and data network services so each customer agency will be able to secure a solution that meets their specific technology needs, mission objectives, and budget requirements,” said Maurice Smith, Regional Director of Network Services.

GSA is a centralized, federal procurement, property management, policy development and information provision agency, created by the U.S. Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public. The LISA contract makes Integra’s full portfolio of voice, data and managed and cloud services available to all federal government agencies and offices within the Rocky Mountain region through the GSA procurement process. This April 16, the GSA will hold its first Vendor Day for the new LISA agreement at the Denver Federal Center. For event information, visit http://www.gsa.gov/portal/content/187955.
