Charlotte, NC – August 28, 2013 – Equinox Global Telecommunications, a solutions service provider of carrier grade, low-latency telecommunication network services, announces the continued expansion of its long haul route which includes Charleston, SC to Miami, FL and Roanoke, VA to Cincinnati, OH. These long haul routes will add to recently announced Charlotte, NC and Georgia projects.
Equinox is engineering its network to be prepared to meet rising demand of dark fiber and broadband services across the southeast. As routes become available, Equinox is negotiating and taking customer orders for dark fiber as well as for professional services. Construction on Equinox’s NOC is scheduled to be complete by the end of this year. Equinox has selected several engineering, construction, logistic and supply chain firms that will be working on various routes across the network. “The fifteen (15) long haul routes we have chosen are a very important aspect of the Equinox network, these routes are in high demand and provide diversity to some of the routes that are currently available,” states Harold Greene, a spokesperson of Equinox Global Telecommunications. “Our team of experienced network engineers is preparing an infrastructure that will meet the demand of applications of the future. At Equinox, we have seen the opportunity in the southeast and value the trust our investor groups have placed in making this network a reality.”
