TelePacific Continues to Invest in South Texas

TelePacific Communications, the leading business communications carrier that acquired Tel West in late 2011 and fully brought that company under its brand this year, is making substantial investments in people and facilities as it continues to grow in Texas. The new Sales Director for South Texas, Angela Obriotti Burke, brings a native’s understanding and enthusiasm for the Texas small and medium business market to her job as she prepares for the opening of a new San Antonio office and hires additional staff there and in Corpus Christi.

“I grew up, went to school and built my career in San Antonio and South Texas,” Obriotti Burke says. “What I always tell people is that although it may be the country’s 7th largest city, it’s still just a big town where people know each other, build relationships based on trust and know that doing the right thing by your customers is the only way to succeed in business. I’m very excited to be here because it’s a company that offers leading-edge communications solutions and large company resources without losing its small company focus on service, responsiveness and relationships.”

TelePacific provides voice, data and Internet communications centered on the three “C”s of Connect, Cloud and Continuity. The company is in the middle of a Texas-sized growth spurt, having recently expanded its operations in Corpus Christi, Richardson and Fort Worth. Targeted investments, coupled with the company’s defining customer service focus, are powering significant expansion as TelePacific gives business customers the solutions they need so they can concentrate on growing their businesses instead of managing their networks.

Connect solutions leverage basic dial-tone, SIP, Internet Access and MPLS over a rich Ethernet Ecosystem to connect businesses to their locations, customers and partners. Business-ready Cloud solutions, including Hosted PBX, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and Mozy desktop, are delivered over TelePacific’s secure, guaranteed availability networks. Continuity solutions combine data center, security and back-up to keep businesses running when the unexpected happens.

“We are very fortunate to have Angela join our Texas team,” says Philip Ross, President of TelePacific Texas. “She’s a passionate, driven, out of the box thinker who loves South Texas and brings more than a dozen years of exceptional success in telecom and technology that was anchored in her ability to connect, understand and solve customer problems. We’re growing, Texas-style, and she’s ready to grab the reins and help our customers grow with us.”
