Digital Edge’s service will also be available at Telx’s DAL2 data center, located at the First American Center in Dallas, through Telx’s Metro Connect Services. Under the agreement, Digital Edge will offer their managed services for customized cloud and hosting platforms to leverage Telx’s high-density of networks and interconnection services for both new and existing clients. Digital Edge offers flexible & innovative enterprise management services, for organizations to reduce risk, improve operational processes, and increase business continuity and productivity.
Digital Edge’s service leverages presence in Dallas to rapidly provide customized cloud-service options throughout the greater Dallas Metro area. Under the agreement, Digital Edge will operate out of Telx’s DAL1 data center with their own managed hosting platform, providing hardware devices, advanced system monitoring, data storage, data center connectivity, bandwidth, power and infrastructure space, and security. Digital Edge will also supply on-site engineering staff for building, maintaining, and managing their client’s environments within the DAL1 facility.
Telx’s Dallas Metro Connect Service provides Digital Edge access to Telx’s DAL2 data center; providing access to all carriers in the Dallas metro area, collocated with Telx, through a single deployment. Today more than 100 networks and solution providers currently within the DAL1facility are now available to companies collocated at DAL2.
