Certification to safe harbor program signals adherence to European Commission's directive on data protection
Dallas, TX (June 27, 2013) –Global data center services provider CyrusOne (:CONE, news) has successfully completed the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Framework certification process from the United States Department of Commerce. “Companies choose CyrusOne data centers to help protect their mission-critical data and systems, and the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor certification demonstrates our commitment to the highest level of global security and data protection standards,” said Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer of CyrusOne. “Many of our customers have global operations and regularly transfer data from international locations.
