Integra Wholesale Experiences Record Growth

Strengthened Leadership, Resources and Products Support Partner Enablement Throughout Wholesale Channel

PORTLAND, OR and LAS VEGAS, NV – March 11, 2013 – Integra™, a provider of fiber-based, carrier-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has experienced unprecedented growth within its Integra Wholesale division, through an enhanced Ethernet product portfolio, expanded fiber network and improved sales tools and resources for partners.

Led by industry veteran Martha Tate, Integra Wholesale has expanded significantly in the last six months. The company’s wholesale unit has doubled its team, adding dedicated regional resources and product experts that provide exceptional service to the company’s wholesale market customers. Integra has grown its coverage of the wholesale segment to not only include carriers and wireless providers, but also content providers, cloud service providers, resellers, data centers and CLECs. Integra has also extended the reach of its fiber network, servicing more than 2,300 on-net buildings with plans for future strategic growth. Further, Integra’s Ethernet capabilities are now offered to more than 400,000 end users and 125 Local Serving Offices (LSOs).

“Integra is committed to fully utilizing our network assets so that we can provide carrier-grade technology solutions where and when our wholesale partners need them,” said Martha Tate, vice president, wholesale for Integra. “By aligning our product offerings and a dedicated team of experts with the unique needs of the wholesale market, we’re able to deliver the superior level of service Integra is known for. The response from our wholesale partners has been very favorable, and I look forward to carrying that momentum forward throughout 2013.”

Building upon the company’s growing portfolio of Wholesale Data Networking offerings, Integra recently launched E-LAN and Dark Fiber services to provide cost-effective and easy-to-deploy options for all of its partners. Integra’s Dark Fiber boasts robust security for metro and long-haul networks and complete control over network design, conserving capital investment in network infrastructure, offering owner economics of financial and operating control. A complement to Integra’s wholesale Ethernet offerings is E-Line services, which provide a scalable, flexible layer 2 network and support data-intensive enterprise applications such as video conferencing, data center consolidation, disaster recovery and business continuity.

In addition to offering a vast Ethernet product portfolio, Integra continues to make investments in its network assets and fiber footprint to support increased wholesale market demand for high-bandwidth communications infrastructure. The enablement of more than 60 network-to-network interfaces (NNIs) as well as 60 megabit-per-second (Mbps) EoC symmetrical network access allows Integra to reach customers beyond its metro fiber footprint and support enterprise-grade communications, networking and cloud solutions.

Integra supports wholesale partners with extensive sales resources and service location capabilities, including an easy-to-use Loop Qualification tool that quickly identifies on-net locations and EoC availability for any on-network customer location. In addition, Integra’s intelligent network performance monitoring tools offer customers more ways to monitor and optimize their Ethernet network, while providing a network operations center-like experience for Integra’s Ethernet services.

In February, Integra unveiled a new brand, logo and name aligned with the company’s expanded market focus. This rebrand follows a transformative year for the company, marked by a record number of new products and significant growth in Integra’s portfolio of large business customers, including enterprise and wholesale customers.
