Shenzhen, China, February 20, 2013]: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced the successful completion of trials for its Service Quality Improvement (SQI) solution on networks in Turkey, Belgium, and Spain. Huawei’s SQI solution objectively measures network service quality, precisely identifies network quality issues, and realizes quality of service (QoS) improvements.
End user behavior continues to change with the rapid growth of mobile broadband (MBB) applications and services, resulting in traditional network Key Performance Indicators (KPI) becoming less able to precisely measure real user experience. Accurately measuring real user experience, locating network service quality issues, and efficiently improving network service quality are challenges operators are currently facing.
Huawei’s SQI solution makes a set of KQI definitions that more precisely measure real user experience. With revamped related-analysis methodology, it locates E2E the root cause of a network issue. Compared to traditional network KPI optimization routines, the SQI solution’s innovative methods improve voice and data QoS while reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Huawei’s SQI solution helps partnering operators identify the reliable KQI definitions, locate the service quality issue root cause and optimize all processes to improve service quality. For example, Huawei’s SQI solution ultimately showed that it could decrease web browsing delay by 42% and increase web download throughput by three times for an overall improvement in service quality.
The SQI solution is an important part of the HUAWEI SmartCare suite of solutions designed to deliver service quality improvements and help operators realize further business success in the MBB era.
