London, UK, 18 December: Colt Technology Services today announced the appointment of Adriaan Oosthoek as Executive Vice President of Colt Data Centre Services. Adriaan will join Colt at the end of March 2013 and will be responsible for managing Colt’s award-winning Data Centre Services business across Europe. Colt Data Centre Services delivers innovative, high quality data centre solutions at a Colt or customer site and recently announced its next generation data centre solution, the Colt ftec data centre, which is flexible, rapid to deploy and highly efficient. Colt’s Data Centre Services business continues to receive strong industry recognition for innovation, most recently with an award from Datacenter Dynamics.
Commenting on the appointment, Rakesh Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer, Colt, said: “We are delighted that Adriaan Oosthoek is joining Colt at this important stage in the growth of our Data Centre Services business. Adriaan brings with him a deep understanding of the colocation and wholesale data centre models, coupled with significant knowledge of our principal European markets. Adriaan joins Colt from Telecity Group where he is Managing Director of the UK business, responsible for developing company reputation and presence in that market. Prior to this, he was a founder of the Dutch subsidiary of Teles AG, a European provider of IT services and solutions, and held a number of senior management roles, responsible for managing several regional markets throughout Europe. Adriaan has also held senior positions at Racal Datacom and Raet Systems & Services.
