C7 Data Centers Celebrates Completion of Major Expansion

Additional Construction Plans Revealed

Salt Lake City, Utah – June 6, 2012 – Responding to increasing demand from enterprise customers and financial, medical and educational institutions, C7 Data Centers (C7), the Intermountain West’s largest provider of data center outsourcing and advanced IT services, today opened Phase II of its Bluffdale data center. The Phase II expansion brings an additional 11,000 square feet of floor space into service immediately and is already 60% pre-sold.

A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of construction was attended by employees and investors. At the ceremony, C7 president and CEO, Wes Swenson, detailed time frames and plans for more Bluffdale expansion and revealed that an announcement would be made later in 2012 about a new data center facility to be constructed.

  • Bluffdale Phase III – Work has begun on an additional 17,000 square feet of data center floor space. Completion in 2012.
  • Bluffdale Phase IV – Another 11,000 square feet of data center floor space. Completion in early 2013.
