CARY, NC June 29, 2012 –Bandwidth, one of the Triangle’s fastest-growing technology companies, today announced that Rebecca Bottorff, Chief People Officer, was named a 2012 “Women in Business” award winner by Triangle Business Journal.
The Women in Business awards program recognizes Triangle women who have proven to be dynamic and outstanding leaders with established track records of significant accomplishments in business and/or community service.

Bottorff joined Bandwidth in 2010, and during that time, the company has grown from 154 to 300 employees. Under her leadership, Bandwidth has become a vibrant, active member of the local Triangle community – supporting a number of local charities and community organizations.

Bottorff introduced a number of new programs at Bandwidth, such as a comprehensive work-life balance program in partnership with Care.com; a wellness initiative for employees, including offering 90 minutes of free time during lunch to work out; an employee recognition program, a concierge service for employees; and also introduced the “Bandwidth Cares” program to support local charitable organizations.
Over the last 15 years, Rebecca has served in executive roles for a number of high-growth, entrepreneurial companies, including: President, Venture Savvy Consulting Group, Vice President of Human Resources for Motricity and Vice President of Human Resources for Konover Property Trust.
