AT&T AdWorks Aligns Within AT&T’s Home Solutions Group, Announces New Leadership

Mike Welch Named President, AT&T AdWorks

New York, New York, June 06, 2012

AT&T AdWorks today announced its new alignment as part of AT&T’s Home Solutions group. With the new strategic alignment, AT&T has appointed Mike Welch as president of AT&T AdWorks. Welch will report to Jeff Weber, president for Content and Advertising at AT&T. The appointment is effective immediately.

AT&T’s Home Solutions division oversees U-verse® TV, broadband and voice services for AT&T’s 22-state local wireline operations. AT&T AdWorks will continue to grow its multiscreen advertising offering, which includes TV, mobile and online platforms.

Since AT&T AdWorks’ rebranding a year ago, it has experienced accelerated growth and presence in the marketplace and it works directly with national brand clients and specialized media agencies.

“I am pleased to join AT&T AdWorks at such an exciting time,” said Welch. “Due to the new strategic alignment, AT&T AdWorks will be better equipped to help our clients connect all the pieces – making it easy to buy, manage, and analyze multiplatform campaigns.”

Prior to his current appointment, Welch was vice president of Sales for the Southwest Region of AT&T Advertising Solutions. Previously, he held several executive level positions with AT&T spanning Consumer Services, AT&T Business Solutions and Sales Operations.  He joined AT&T in 1997 after spending seven years in sales at The Pillsbury Company.
