Sprint Launches Student ID Pack for the University of California, Davis

UC Davis Student Sprint ID pack offers students, faculty and alumni customized university Web links, apps, and more on their mobile device to stay connected, informed and entertained

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), December 19, 2011 – Students who are busy focused on their studies in agriculture, business, law, health, or veterinary medicine at the University of California, Davis campus, can now have instant access to university-related news and numerous apps on select Sprint (NYSE:S, news, filings) Android™ powered devices with the launch of the UC Davis Student Sprint ID pack.

Sprint ID packs deliver a complete mobile experience – centered on consumers’, students’ or businesses’ interests or favorite brands – including applications, widgets, ringtones and wallpapers, in a couple of simple clicks.

Students with Sprint ID-capable devices can download up to five ID packs onto their device and easily switch back and forth between them or swap them out for new ones.
