HickoryTech Matches Salvation Army Red Kettle

Employees Ring Bells in Support of Salvation Army
MANKATO, Minn., Dec. 17, 2011 — HickoryTech Corporation (NASDAQ:HTCO, news, filings) today announced it will match a Salvation Army Red Kettle to support year-round programs in the Mankato community.  Employees will ring bells at Mankato Cub Foods West on Saturday, Dec. 17 and all donations will be matched by HickoryTech.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign efforts raise funds to support year-round programs in the Mankato community. With the help of hundreds of generous volunteers accumulating 6,000 volunteer hours of bell ringing, donations provide dinners, clothing, basic necessities and toys for families in need.
