Integra Telecom Names Kevin O’Hara Chief Executive Officer

Portland, Ore. – Dec. 12, 2011 – Integra Telecom Inc., a fiber-based provider of business-grade networking and communications solutions, has named Kevin O’Hara chief executive officer.

O’Hara has been a member of the board of directors of Integra Telecom since 2009 serving as director, chairman and most recently as executive chairman. He will remain a director in addition to his new role as CEO.

During his tenure on Integra’s board, Mr. O’Hara has championed the more effective use of Integra’s extensive fiber assets to deliver a diverse suite of advanced service offerings.

O’Hara replaces Tom Casey, who was recently appointed CEO of Tronox, Inc. where he previously served as chairman of the board of directors. Jim Huesgen, who joined Integra in 2000 and has served as president since 2002, will remain as Integra’s president and will report directly to O’Hara.

In addition to serving on Integra’s board, O’Hara co-founded and served as president, chief operating officer and director of Level 3 Communications Inc. Prior to Level 3, O’Hara served as president and CEO of MFS Global Network Services. O’Hara also serves on the boards of Elemental Technologies and RigNet (NASDAQ: RNET).
