KDDI America and TELEHOUSE America Appoint New CEO and President, Masaaki Nakanishi

New York, NY, USA – October 05, 2011 – KDDI America, a leading provider of international IT and telecommunication services, along with its sister company, TELEHOUSE America, a provider of global dedicated data centers, announced today the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer and President, Mr. Masaaki Nakanishi. Mr. Nakanishi will oversee all of the KDDI America and TELEHOUSE America facilities and services and will be replacing former CEO, Mr. Yasushi Kubota.

Mr. Nakanishi, a Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Global Business, for KDDI Corporation, is uniquely positioned to take on his new appointment here in the United States. Mr. Nakanishi will continue to establish KDDI Corporation’s global vision as a leading provider of Telecommunications and Data Center services. His experience is second to none, having led KDDI’s international business unit and, before that, been Managing Director of KDDI Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of KDDI Corporation. Among many other roles, he has also been a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of DMX Technologies, another KDDI subsidiary and provider of digital media software and solutions throughout Asia and particularly in China.
