INTEGRA NAMED AN APPROVED PROVIDER OF TELECOM SERVICES TO GOVERNMENT

Integra Awarded IT Schedule 70 Contract by U.S. General Services Administration

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 6, 2011 – Integra Telecom Inc., a provider of business-grade networking, communications and cloud solutions, has been awarded the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 contract. This contract allows Integra to provide services to federal, state, local and tribal government organizations.

“The GSA IT Schedule 70 contract is an important step for Integra and demonstrates our commitment to serving federal, state and local agencies throughout our footprint,” said Trent Anderson, Integra’s vice president of enterprise sales. “We currently provide our products and services to a considerable number of government agencies, and being on the short list of approved providers allows us to show a much larger audience the value of the solutions Integra provides, whether it’s voice and wireless services, Internet, MPLS, Ethernet solutions or other services.”

In order to receive approved vendor status, Integra participated in a rigorous evaluation process, providing in-depth product and service information, negotiating price points for its services, and providing customer references to display successful past performance.

The GSA IT Schedule 70 is the largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government and is designed to streamline the vendor selection process for government agencies. More than $16 billion of IT services are purchased annually through the program.
