announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named ISG 400 and UTS 4000 as recipients of a 2010 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. A Communications Solutions’ award was also presented to Hatteras Networks for its Ethernet Access Evolution Suite. Overture and Hatteras merged on March 21, 2011.
The ISG 400 is a modular Gigabit Carrier Ethernet edge platform that enables ubiquitous Carrier Ethernet services from 1Mbps to 1Gbps over both native Ethernet and the existing TDM infrastructure. The UTS 4000 is a multi-service Carrier Ethernet edge and mini-aggregation platform supporting Ethernet and DS1 pseudo-wire services and it is ideally suited for high performance mobile backhaul applications. The Ethernet Access Evolution Suite enables global carriers to leverage existing infrastructures to deliver new services and business models.
