Arriba! Boost Mobile Now Offers Unlimited Calling to All of Mexico for Only $5 a Month

Promotional price of $5 available for a limited time, allows Boost Monthly Unlimited Customers to call all landlines in Mexico

IRVINE, Calif. (BUSINESS WIRE), July 07, 2011 – Boost Mobile, ranked by J.D. Power and Associates as the Highest in Overall Customer Satisfaction with Non-Contract Wireless Service1, will provide its monthly unlimited customers even greater value when calling International destinations with enhancements to the International Connect add-on to Monthly Unlimited.

Available today, Boost Mobile has added unlimited calling to all of Mexico for as low as $5 a month when added to a monthly unlimited plan. This limited-time offer, coupled with Boost’s $50 Monthly Unlimited plan, unleashes unlimited nationwide talk, text, Web, email, 411 along with unlimited international text from the US and unlimited international calling to Mexico for only $55 a month – the wireless industry’s best value for unlimited calling to Mexico.

“Our customers have contacts all over the world and when they asked for more cities in Mexico, we listened,” said Andre Smith, vice president, Boost Mobile. “Including all of Mexico allows our customers to focus more on their unlimited conversations with friends and family and less on calling restrictions, extra fees or wireless contracts.”

Customers looking for additional countries can choose International Connect Plus, which includes the calling destinations in the International Connect plan as well as unlimited calling to more than 35 additional countries, including landlines in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Argentina and Colombia. Unlimited calling to all of Mexico is available on both International Connect and International Connect Plus as a limited time offer.

$5 International Connect includes:

  • Unlimited calling to landlines in all cities in Mexico including Mexico City
  • Unlimited calling to Canada (excluding area code 867)
  • Unlimited international text messages worldwide from the U.S.
  • Unlimited international text messages from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands (CDMA Series phones)
  • Unlimited walkie-talkie from the U.S., Canada and Baja California (Mexico) to Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Chile (available with iDEN Series phones)

$10 International Connect includes:

  • Everything included in International Connect
  • Unlimited Calling to landlines in more than 35 countries including Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Colombia and more

The limited-time offer is good for subscribers who add International Connect to a Monthly Unlimited plan by Aug. 31. Those customers who activate on the add-on during the promotional period will continue to receive unlimited calls to Mexico as long as the account is active and the $5 monthly add-on remains on the account.

As an added benefit for current customers, all existing Boost Mobile customers who previously signed up for either International Connect add-on as of April 11 will automatically receive the expanded benefit of unlimited calls to all of Mexico, with no need to call Customer Care or perform an update to their existing account.

Additional savings can be achieved by simply making on-time payments with Boost Mobile’s Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage plan, where the longer you stay the less you pay.
