Telecom and sales veteran lead sales and strategy across four state region

PAETEC Holding Corp. (NASDAQ GS: PAET), a Fortune 1000 company that provides advanced communication solutions to businesses nationwide, has named Rick Cunningham to Vice President and General Manager of PAETEC’s Michigan, Ohio, Iowa markets, as well as Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, he will be responsible for the region’s overall strategy including new sales, and customer support across eight regional sales offices representing approximately $100,000,000 in annual revenue.
With more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry, Rick joined PAETEC in 1999 with the acquisition of CampusLink Communications Systems, Inc. He previously led PAETEC’s nationwide sales strategy supporting over 200 direct sales representatives across five strategic vertical industries including Higher Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Financial Services, and Government. Under Cunningham’s leadership, the strategic verticals have grown to now include 18,000 business customers generating approximately $400 million in annual revenue.

Cunningham has a Bachelor of Administration degree in Marketing from Michigan State University and currently resides in Milford, Michigan.
