City of Industry CA, and Louisville, CO – April 14, 2011 – Newegg Inc., the second-largest online-only retailer in the United States, and Zayo, a provider of fiber-based bandwidth infrastructure and network-neutral colocation and interconnection services, announced todaythey have entered into a multi-year agreement for colocation services for Newegg’s east coast disaster recovery facility.
When fully deployed, Zayo will provide Newegg with approximately 1,000 sq ft of space in one of its east coast data centers. In the event of a disruption, the East Coast location will handle order fulfillment and all back office activity and will mirror the Newegg West Coast facility to maintain business integrity in the event of disruption to the primary facility.
