SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 11, 2011 — Juniper Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR, news, filings) Vice President of Government Affairs and Critical Infrastructure Protection Robert Dix will keynote the 2011 Kooy Cyber Security Symposium in Amsterdam on Wednesday, April 13 at 13:00 CET.

As a member of the US President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, (NSTAC) Juniper has provided leadership to the NSTAC Cybersecurity Collaboration Task Force. Dix will provide key insight into an initiative to build a joint, integrated 24×7 public-private operational capability to improve detection, prevention, mitigation and response to cyber events that could become incidents of national or international consequence.

In its tenth year, the Kooy symposium is organized by the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI NIRIA), Defence and Security Department and will be held at the Defense Event Centre (Defensie Evenementencentrum), at the Marinekazerne (Navy Barracks) Amsterdam, Kattenburgerstraat 7, 1018 JA Amsterdam. Representatives from government, politics, the army, knowledge institutes, universities and businesses will attend and discuss a broad range of topics, including the importance of knowledge and technology for the Dutch defense organization and security industry.
