PAETEC Waives Long Distance Charges to Japan in Response to National Tragedy

PAETEC employees express sincere condolences to the people of Japan

The 4,600 employees PAETEC Holding Corp. would like to express their sincere thoughts and condolences to the people of Japan who have experienced one of the most dire tragedies in the nation’s history.

PAETEC also extends its sympathies to its U.S.-based customers, many of which have employees and business partners in Japan. While these customers continue to communicate with their friends and coworkers in Japan, PAETEC will waive long distance calling to the country from the date of the earthquake, Friday, March 11 through Monday, April 11, 2011.

The rate reduction covers all call types to all of Japan’s jurisdictions and applies to non-wholesale customers of PAETEC. However, the company reserves the right to bill for calls on contracted rates in the instance of abuse or fraud.
