Terremark Augments Cyber Security Team with Addition of Leading Analyst

One of the World’s Foremost Experts in Advanced Threat and Malware Analysis Joins Terremark’s Industry-Leading Group of Information Security Professionals

Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ:TMRK), a leading global provider of managed IT infrastructure services, today announced the addition of Michael Hale Ligh, one of the world’s foremost experts in advanced threat and malware analysis, to its Secure Information Services (SIS) team.

Ligh joins the Threat Intelligence group within Terremark’s highly specialized SIS team, which has developed some of the industry’s most cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and boasts widely recognized experts in areas such as memory forensics, network intrusion detection and prevention, and vulnerability assessment. Through the development of proprietary cyber security tools and the delivery of managed security solutions, the company’s SIS team helps to deliver unique value to customers leveraging Terremark’s suite of services, including its cloud computing, managed hosting and network offerings.

Ligh is the author of “Malware Analyst’s Cookbook and DVD: Tools and Techniques for Fighting Malicious Code” and a regular lecturer who has offered malware analysis courses around the world. Prior to joining Terremark, he worked on the malicious code operations team at iDefense Labs and held numerous positions in vulnerability research and malware cryptography for one of the largest healthcare providers in the United States and several financial institutions.
