Four schools will share $70,000 from Windstream
- Nodaway Valley Middle School – Fontanelle
- St. Francis Xavier School – Dyersville
- West Delaware Central School District – Manchester
- Charter Oak-Ute Elementary School – Charter Oak
The four were chosen among eight finalists based on a public online vote from Sept. 27-Oct. 15.
Nodaway Valley Middle School received the most votes and will receive a $25,000 donation from Windstream. The three remaining schools will receive $15,000 each.
Windstream received more than 700 nominations for Iowa Education Connections. Fifty-two schools and 501(c)3 organizations applied for the program. Eight finalists were chosen based on current technology resources and overall need.
