Milestone Validates Government Solution Division’s Strong Customer Commitment
NASHVILLE – DISA Customer Partnership Conference 2010 – May 3, 2010 — Intellifiber Networks, serving the growing network needs of enterprise, service provider and government markets, today announced it has activated its 500th high capacity circuit for the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Circuit speeds for the DoD range from DS-3 to 10 Gbps wavelengths, covering 14 states and more than 150 locations.
Intellifiber is a leading competitive carrier in the Mid-Atlantic region, the largest federal market. Its state-of-the-art, dense fiber network allows the DoD to leverage the Intellifiber infrastructure to increase security through true network diversity.
“We work with DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) to understand the department’s requirements and then design secure, compliant solutions that operate within budget and are delivered on time,” said Clint Heiden, president of Intellifiber Networks. “Base realignment has further increased bandwidth needs within our footprint, and we work closely with DISA to ensure the bandwidth, diversity and security needs of the bases and federal installations are being met.”
Intellifiber’s Government Solutions division is designed to provide direct, dedicated support to government agency customers from pre-design to installation, program management, and operations. Additionally all DoD services are treated as high priority within the Intellifiber organization and receive immediate and expedited levels of service. To further elevate the customer experience, Intellifiber conducts continuous systems refinement to ensure that the order to service delivery lifecycle and the ongoing maintenance work are as seamless as possible.
Intellifiber interconnects with major data, carrier and hosting facilities in Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington DC. The company also provides a range of services into a variety of markets such as Norfolk, Richmond, Wilmington, Syracuse, Buffalo and Columbus, with extensive fiber reach throughout the eastern United States, providing true diverse options for multiple federal facilities.
