CenturyLink Shareholders Approve Name Change

MONROE, La., May 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — CenturyLink (NYSE:CTL, news, filings) announced today that, at the company’s annual meeting, shareholders approved changing the company’s legal name from CenturyTel, Inc. to CenturyLink, Inc. The company had been operating under the CenturyLink brand name since the second half of 2009.
