Serves More Than 1,000 Unique Customers; Exceeds 11,500 Route Miles of Fiber across 30 Markets
Fibertech Networks, one of the nation’s fastest growing fiber-optic bandwidth providers, today announced it has surpassed significant sales and operational milestones in 2014.
“Since our inception in 2000, we have rapidly accelerated the growth of our network and customer base, all without any mergers or acquisitions,” said John K. Purcell, Chairman and CEO of Fibertech. “To that point, we recently added our 1,000th customer to our growing base of organizations entrusting us to carry mission-critical communications.”
This year will also mark Fibertech’s thirteenth consecutive year of double digit revenue growth.
“So far this year we’ve also experienced tremendous sales growth,” said Michael Hurley, VP Sales and Marketing for Fibertech. “Through the first 10 months of this year we’ve sold more new customers, more contracts, more new revenue, for more total contract value than in any full year in our 14-year history. And we expect additional growth on top of that before we turn the page to 2015.”
The company also exceeded other operational milestones, specifically:
- On-net buildings: 10,000 in 2014 versus 6,000 in 2012
- Markets served: 30 in 2014 versus 23 in 2012
- Route miles of fiber: 11,500 in 2014 versus 8,100 in 2012
Purcell concluded, “These accomplishments can be attributed to the complete ownership of our network facilities, our outstanding record of customer satisfaction, and most importantly the dedicated and skilled efforts of our incredible team of employees.”
