Unite Private Networks Announces Major Expansion of its Colorado Front Range Network

Unite Private Networks, LLC (UPN) has expanded its Colorado Front Range presence by completing an intercity fiber network that connects UPN’s local networks in Denver, Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. UPN also plans to extend the intercity network north to Longmont during 2012. The intercity fiber has the capability to provide large circuits, up to 10 Gigabits, between the Denver Metro, Colorado Springs and Pueblo markets. The fiber will also connect UPN’s data center in Pueblo, providing diverse, yet local, data center space and disaster recovery options for Denver and Colorado Springs organizations.

“UPN’s intercity network along with our Pueblo data center provide a great alternative for organizations that have needs for circuits between markets or disaster recovery and business continuity services, which have not traditionally been available from North to South on the Front Range,” said Terry Bellinger, VP of Market Development. “We are very excited about the relationships we already have in place and the potential to continue to expand this network.”

UPN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rob Oyler adds, “We have been doing business along the Front Range since 1999. Our network capabilities have now reached a point where the whole Front Range community can benefit from interconnectivity all along the route with disaster recovery functions built in.”
